MAROSTEGA, Peter Louis At the Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, January, 31, 2010. Peter Louis Marostega in his 83rd year, was the beloved husband of the late Yvonne (Goy) Marostega (2000). He was the loving father of Geri Reid (Robert), of Elmira, Colleen Wallace and Peter Jr. (Darlene) all of Guelph. Peter was the proud grandfather of Eric, Tamara (Ben), James, Candice, Morgan and Bryce. He was the dear brother of the late Gino and Frank Marostega. Peter is survived by his sisters-in-law Susie Marostega of Guelph, and Charlene Goy of Niagara Falls. Peter will be fondly remembered by Shirley Wood and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fortunato and Narcissia (Barton) Marostega. Resting at the Gilbert Maclntryre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Peter will be held on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 10a.m. Cremation to follow. Entombment of ashes in Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
