Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the age of 56. The beloved husband of Ruma and the dear father of Arnab, Arpana and Antara, he will always be remembered as a symbol of perseverance and hope. Ranjit was admired by all for his strength, courage, devotion to family and most notably his selfless nature. He had the remarkable ability to positively shape and influence the lives of those around him. Ranjit is survived by his wife, children, siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family. He will be missed by all and forever loved. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home , Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow on Wednesday (cards are available at the funeral home 519-821-5077 or send condolences at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
