Peacefully, after a brief illness, at Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2010 in her 95th year. Laurene was a lifetime resident of Puslinch Township. Beloved wife of the late Peter McLean (Mac) Patterson (1981). Survived by her nephews and nieces Jim (Lynn) Patterson of Ottawa, Margaret (nee McCartney) Cairns of Bracebridge, Murray (Marilyn) McCartney of Carlisle, Don (Catherine) McCartney of Hanover, Jim (Kate) McCartney of Waterdown, Allan Crow (deceased), Darlene of Guelph, and the late Helen (nee Crow), Terry Kress of Kitchener Waterloo and Paul (Joanne) Crow of London. Laurene was a special friend and neighbour to Bryan and Teresa Lillycrop of Puslinch. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Duffs Presbyterian Church, 319 Brock Rd., R.R.3 Guelph, on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment will be held at Crown Cemetery.
