Heeg, Doris S.-- Passed away peacefully at the Elliott Home in Guelph on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Doris (Merriam) Heeg, age 95 years, was the beloved wif of the late John A. Heeg (1993). She was the loving mother of Mary Evans and her husband Michael of England, and Michael and his wife Claire Breakey Heeg of Guelph. Doris was the proud grandmother of Bronwen and her husband OBeid, Nita, and Joseph. She was the dear sister of Jessie Andersen and her late husband Gordon, and the late Betty Beattie (Ralph), and the late Leslie Merriam (Nell). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Doris will be fondly remembered by Chloe Breakey. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Doris will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of Our Lady on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Church of Our Lady Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
