Steffler, James Patrick (Jim) The family are deeply saddened to announce the passing of their husband, father, and grandfather, at his residence on Saturday July 10, 2010. Loving husband of Sharon Steffler (Tarbutt), dear father of Greg and his wife Cindy Steffler, Dave Steffler, Shannon and Matt Hancock, all of Guelph. Adoring grandpa of Benjamin and Amelia (Mimi) Hannant-Steffler, and Colin and Rebecca Hancock. Survived by his sister Elaine and her husband Lloyd Ramsay, and his brothers Ted and his late wife Sal (2009) Steffler, and Carl and his wife Bev Steffler, all of Guelph. Dear brother-in-law of Brenda and her husband Larry Fabbro, Brian Tarbutt, and the late John Tarbutt (2005), all of Hamilton. Jim was a 39 year employee of GE/ABB in Guelph, a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 49 years, and a very committed blood donor. At the request of Jim, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday July 15, 2010 at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Road, Guelph at 11 a.m. Immediately following the mass a reception/Luncheon will be held in the church hall. Private Interment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, at a later date.
