VALENTINUZZI, Clorinda (Ena) - At St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph on Monday, August 25, 2008. Clorinda (Ena) (Bandiera) Valentinuzzi, born December 12, 1920, was the loving wife of the late Aldo Valentinuzzi (1992). She was the beloved mother of Reg Valentinuzzi (Louise) and Mary Pugliese (Alfredo), all of Guelph. Ena was the dearest grandmother of Paul Pugliese (Carolyn) of London, and Michael Pugliese of Woodbridge. She was the daughter of the late Girolomo Bandiera and Vittoria (Agnoletto). Ena was the loving sister of Mary Basso (the late Reno) and twin brother, John (the late Marj) and the late Rose Bandiera (July 2008), all of Mississauga. She is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia and relatives in Italy. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Guelph General Hospital and St. Joseph's Health Centre for their compassionate care of our mother during her illness. A special thank you goes to Dr. Chris Stemerdink for his concern and care for our mother. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
