KING, Harold Robert - (37 year employee of Fiberglass Canada) Passed away peacefully, at Guelph General Hospital, on Saturday, August 9, 2008. Harold R. King, in his 75th year, was the beloved husband of 54 years of Rose (Boizon) King of Guelph. He was the loving father of Valerie King and her husband Murray Harrop of Burlington and Michael King and his wife Jeannette of Guelph. Harold was the proud grandfather of Melissa Prior and her partner Tracey Montin of Guelph, Kristy Prior of Kitchener, Briana Reid, Beau Strickland, and Chysa Strickland all of Guelph and of five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his two brothers, William and Richard King. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Gay King of Guelph. Survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and by many nieces and nephews. Private cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Harold will take place at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Ashes to be place in Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
